The current national focus on the health care debate has bought employers a “time out” on the Employee Free Choice Act. But the wise employers are deeply into developing their strategy as to how they will respond to the various forms the final bill may take.

Winter is coming, and as in the old parable, some “crickets” will keep playing their summer songs. More forward looking folks are preparing for the challenges brought by the winter.
